Kenneth from Kansas Scores Again!

Kenneth from Kansas has been back to the lake. He and a friend set out 16 Topcats, had 7 fish, 6 channel cat, 13, 9, 8, 6, 3, and 2 pounds and their first flathead of the season, only 9 pounds, he lived to swim again.

Long Time, No Blog

What a winter, glad it is almost Topcat season. I was able to present my products at a seminar at Smithville Marine in Missouri with John Jamison, bluecat expert, in March. Great time, great response. Topcat also helped sponsor a Fellowship of Christian Athletes outdoor expo with Hank Parker, again excellent response to the Topcat system.

I am working on a new product release "the up rigger". It allows you to ROD & REEL fish with your Topcats more info in a few days.

Also waiting on a new 16 foot grizzly boat with 25 horsepower mercury, now I will be able to cover more water than I ever could in my canoe.

I have had inquiries about guided fishing trips, working on the details, more information soon.

Getting Started

Thanks to everyone who has helped to start Topcat Fishing Tackle LLC, especially Kamran, Joe and Brenda, and my wife Marybeth.

THAT'S NOT GOOD FISHING, THAT'S GOOD CATCHING!

I work with Steve. Over the years he has brought in several giant flathead photographs and an occaisionaly flathead roast.

When he thought about selling the Topcat I was the first to buy, I got three. We fished them the first time October 3 under not ideal conditions (based on the instructional DVD) and with smaller baits than we wanted. We were still able to catch two bluecats (see photo) and had our third bait stolen. On Monday the fifth we bought three more Topcats. I can't wait to get all six in the water.
