Terry Acton and His 44-Pound Flathead

Thanks to Terry Acton of Show Me The Outdoors on 610 AM Sports Radio for letting me take him, his son, Troy, and his grandson, Jake, Topcatting. We had eight fish totaling 71 pounds, the largest 44 pound flathead.

I want to thank Joe and his two sons, London and Jace, for letting me take them Topcatting. I was smiling even bigger than the three of them when Joe pulled that 33 pound flathead into the boat. After snapping some photos we set the beast free to fight again.

Joe, London, and Jace

Thursday, July 1, Joe and his two sons, London and Jace, took a guided Topcatfishingtackle catfishing trip. When it was done, we had boated 62 pounds of fish. Chanelcats, 3, 3, 4, 9, and 10 pounds and one 33 pound flathead. The flathead stayed to swim in the lake but the channels went home to swim in the fryer.

Troy and his son, Jake, and daughter, Megan, charted with Topcat Fishing Tackle, Friday, June 11. Final tally, 5 fish, 4 flatheads, 10, 11, 20 and 36 pounds and one 6 1/2 pound channelcat. Thanks for a great charter and enjoy those catfish filets.

Jamo Scores Big!

Jamo went to a river near Cherryvale, Kansas. He put out 8 Topcats and 2 friends put out 16 traditional drop lines. His friends gave jamo considerable grief about those crazy Topcats. The funny part came in the morning, 8 Topcats, 4 fish. 24 and 16 pound flathead and 14 and 10 pound bluecats. Great Topcatting, Jamo!

Tri and Alexander from Kansas score big!

Saturday, June 5, Tri and Alexander Topcatted some dandies! They had 5 flatheads, 12, 16, 18, 19 and 27 pounds, and 1 channelcat. 6 pounds for a total of 99 pounds of catfish.

Kenneth from Kansas Scores Again!

Kenneth from Kansas has been back to the lake. He and a friend set out 16 Topcats, had 7 fish, 6 channel cat, 13, 9, 8, 6, 3, and 2 pounds and their first flathead of the season, only 9 pounds, he lived to swim again.

Long Time, No Blog

What a winter, glad it is almost Topcat season. I was able to present my products at a seminar at Smithville Marine in Missouri with John Jamison, bluecat expert, in March. Great time, great response. Topcat also helped sponsor a Fellowship of Christian Athletes outdoor expo with Hank Parker, again excellent response to the Topcat system.

I am working on a new product release "the up rigger". It allows you to ROD & REEL fish with your Topcats more info in a few days.

Also waiting on a new 16 foot grizzly boat with 25 horsepower mercury, now I will be able to cover more water than I ever could in my canoe.

I have had inquiries about guided fishing trips, working on the details, more information soon.
